"To be worth anything it must stand the test of time."

Hello, my love of consuming fire,
You pull me down from a place much higher.

I flee in flight from heaven's land,
Where I can see you and your love love will stand.

I'll dance with thee at the gates of hell,
Where all your fiery passion dwells.

Help find in me your heart of old,
And we'll make dull bronze of shining gold.

I should've known you'd turn and leave,
Leaving only air with ashes to breathe.

To God I sob and pray and pray,
But alone down here with pain I'll stay.

Goodbye, my love of dead desire,
You burned my heart in a raging fire.

No more do we dance at the gates of hell,
Where the demons of sins past, will forever dwell.

This was an attempted villanelle but obviously a fail.
