Best Friends Forever/never
This girl and I vowed we were best friends forever,
but after a few years it seemed as if we were never.
She switched schools, we were on our own starts,
but I still had a special place for her in my heart.
Maybe we weren't always together,
but I still viewed her as my best friend forever.
The girls in her school were different than mine.
Would she be influenced? It only took time.
Soon she had their attitude, followed their trends,
yet I still viewed her as my best friend.
It was such a change, it was quite clear,
her acting like this just made me fear.
I tried to include her, influence her for the better,
because I still viewed her as my best friend forever.
Now this special girl is moving away,
I am nervous to know where her future will lay.
I will always worry for her, this feeling won't get better,
because no matter what... She's my best friend forever.
