"The most wasted of all days is one without laughter." -- E.E. Cummings

I watched the sun fall into night
A gentle fall I could not fight.
Then came the moon
The pale remedy
That glistened with stillness
And brought sleep to me.
How heavy my eyes, how light my breath
How woven the dreams and tender the death.

This is quite a lovely poem. You write with rare eloquence and speak of celestial subjects. I love the fourth and fifth lines, although the entirety of the piece is enjoyable to read.

I love this! It is very elegant, which is something I always strive for in poetry.
