after death still with hope

like a sea
my mind waders and and sways
and now I can see
that with each passing day
my heart burns brighter
for you
the minutes and the days
go by in a daze
in my mind
its you I find
but this is all old
part of a story i never told
me and you were in love
but you were elevated to the stars above
you left me alone in this home
and now the city alone I roam
thinking and crying
feeling like dieing
but knowing that you
would want me to
live
