Oh thunderstorm! Finally you have come!
I have been waiting for this moment,
as maybe a bum.
You are rarely here, thanks to this hot state,
but I never gave up hope, when you told me to wait.
I sit here in the window, watching you tear the skies,
with rain and lightning, that surely never dies.
Oh thunderstorm, please don't dissapoint me,
please don't go away,
I promise not scream nor hide, only a shout, a mighty "yay!".
I press my face to the glass, and imagine dancing,
dancing in your showers of rain.
Turning and turning and turning circles again,
turning, until I get a pain.
Oh thunderstorm I know, I know you cannot last forever,
but be with me, be with me now,
as I wish never.
