She's masked behind a radiant smile. Each beat of her steeled heart Chips at her porcelain shell. Hiding her heartache through false happiness She wishes were true. Believing lies and false truths the world feeds her. She's constantly climbing a stairway of unreachable expectations, Never quite reaching the top. She yearns to take off the mask, soften her heart, and let go of the banister.
