Behind These Scars

As I walk along this winding road,
Just trying to find my way home,
Your face appears inside my head,
I think of everything you said,
And I try to forget how everything,
Reminds me of when I was with you,
As I begin to recall the days and nights,
All the stupid and pointless fights,
I remember the way you made me feel,
As my broken heart begins to heal,
And now you’re gone,
And I’m moving on.
