I don’t really care, you see,
You’re nothing like me.
I fail and you succeed.
It’s depressing but fills me with greed.

I need you with me; I need you by my side.
Can’t you understand? You are all my joy and pride.
Secretly, I’m filled with anguish.
Can’t you understand? You all with me is my life’s wish.

I don’t really care, you see,
You’re nothing like me.
I am so lonely, even in the crowd.
It’s sad; none of you see it, especially because I’m so loud.

I hope and pray that I will see you guys soon,
Can’t you understand? You are required to me like the waves and the moon.
Secretly, I’m consumed by that depressing itch.
Can’t you understand? You all with me is my life’s wish.

This poem is about letting yourself out through your friends. How friendship is a bond that holds tight forever and although they may not see who you truly are, they will always be there for you.
