Hands
With his hands he ruined my life, breaking his promise that I'd be his wife. With his hands he pulled away, leaving me in disarray. With his hands he pushed me down, in all my tears he left me to drown.
With these hands I feel the pain, that he left with me out in the rain. With these hands I waved good bye, feeling as if my heart would die. With these hands I lost it all, holding my head high I tried to stand tall.
But with your hands you can show me the way, making me listen to whatever you say. With your hands you can hold onto mine, letting my whole life fall into line. With your hands you can heal my heart, turning it into a work of art.
