Hate me, love me, doesn't matter. I'm me and you can't change that.

When the wind blows
Does the world grow colder?
No one really knows
Nothing ever shows
Does anyone really grow older?

When the waves crash
Does the world change?
People scatter in a mad-dash
Children play with shells in their stash
Is it really that strange?

When the rain begins to pour
Does everything melt?
My heart begins to soar
As we run for the door
Can we even describe how it felt?

Life has an end
Why is it so hard to say goodbye?
You never know what is around the bend
There are thingd we must fix and mend
Why must there be a time to live and a time to die?
