Favorite Quote:
You call it madness I call it love.

Distorted feet slid across the floor
Empty words echo off the walls
The distorted feet stomp upon the floor
Emptiness held within the walls
His feet stumble loudly
Her name he calls

In the corner of the dark
She mumbles a prayer
Submerged in darkness
She mouths a silent prayer
Hidden from the world
Kept within his lair

The foot steps stop
As well as her breathing
The foot steps halt
Only hearing his breathing.
Light is slipping through
His agitation seething

Her heart begins to race
The doorknob starts to turn
Her heart is racing
The doorknob turning
Tears well in her eyes,
Face is brightly burning

The door cracks opens
Shedding light upon her face
The door opens wide
Lighting up her cries
He stares at her
Glaring evil in her eyes.

I wrote this for a project this year in creative writting. I got inspired by a movie I was watching where the drunken father was beating the mom and daughter who would hide in a closet. It was very emotional, but not from personal experience
