I hear no sounds, I see no people here.
There is a barrier I cannot pass,
An accumulation of all I fear.
Everything is slow, yet it is so fast.
Balance, Eyes, Elbow, Follow through, then flick.
Focused hard but I cant keep from thinking.
They yell "Timeout," an old basketball trick.
It feels like a dream so I try blinking.
I walk back on the court to take the shot.
Balance, Eyes, Elbow, Follow through, okay.
All eyes are on me like a lonely spot.
I block them out,I cant hear what they say.
What did I do wrong?How could I have missed?
Oh my god! I forgot to flick my wrist.
