Blankets of Snow
Mother has always been good to me.
Always thought I’d have a home.
Always thought I’d have a family to love.
Always knew that someone would always provide and care for me,
Always never works out as expected.
Always was a problem lately,
Always sick,
Always poor,
Always pain.
Always didn’t cut it anymore.
Always I was now alone.
Always mother has cared for me.
Always a place to rest my head,
Always a person to watch, to love me.
Always I would have my mother with me.
Mother tucks me into bed, with her icy blanket of love; I can now drift away from this place, this pain.
Mother has always been good to me
