Rhea

By
Mother of the gods,
All of Earths chronicled mythology forge from heartbeats,
As thunderous epics unfold in your bosom.

An exotic bird of sorts,
Adorned in feathered regalia,
And sunbeams weave through perfectly preened plumage.

Lady of the water,
Your breath dances in the deltas,
Batters seaborne vessels in a blend of sailors and seawater.
