Ninety Pounds

160, 159, 158, 157, 156, 155
100!
100, 99, 98, 97, 96, 95,
90!

Ninety pounds that’s where I want to be
The scale just laughs at me
I laugh back and say
“That’s where I’ll be some day.”
Just you wait and see I’ll lose the weight and be
Ninety pounds happy and free
Blowing in the wind
Making the scale my new best friend the scale will laugh no more I will smile broadly and say
“I told you about this day.”

Just a piece I used as inspiration when I was anorexic. I've been digging up old poems. This isnt one of the best.
