Growing Pains

As I sit and ponder my life up until now.
I sometimes wonder if I chose the right path to go down.
And on this path there have been many curves and twists.
Along with the predicaments I chose to settle with fists.
Though these things do make me stronger.
I’m just not sure if I can accept it any longer.
The man I have become is not one I had planned to see.
If only I could take things back to the way they used to be.
