At the End of the Dock
Two sisters sat at the end of a dock,
Around them did all the handsome boys flock,
"Let us ignore them," said the wiser of the two,
"Agreed," said the younger, "that is exactly what we'll do",
"Let no boy come between us," the wise one said,
"Yes,” replied the young one with a nod of her head,
“For a sister’s bond should never be broken…”
The wise one waited for a reply which was never spoken,
For the younger one saw a handsome boy yonder,
And with that she began a deep and thoughtful ponder,
With a push, she shoved her sister into the lake,
And ran after the boy, for he was hers to take.
