Night Sky

Looking up at the night sky I saw
A flying angel
Soaring over my head,
I witnessed a war between the clouds
And a party in the stars.
Looking up at the night sky I saw
The moon grinning back at me,
Winking, as it glowed vividly over my head;
I observed its slow waltz
Along the endless dance floor.
Looking up at the night sky I saw
My thoughts and dreams,
My past and future;
I saw the innumerable array of human emotion
Churning like a pot of soup on a stove.
