Living Life In Another Way

Living life in another way.
Praising God each an everyday.
Praying is all we have to do
because God will see us through.

I live in the city of New Orleans
where there’s so much drugs and killings.
There’s been so many crimes
but now its God time.

I can’t walk up the street
without somebody trying to sell drugs to me.
Tears falling from my eyes
because I hate to see my people die.


Only if they know what God has plan
they would want to be better men.
If they knew who brought them into this world
they would want to be better girls.

Because all of that is God’s work
and when we do wrong, he hurts.
One day they’ll understand
that for them God has a plan.

I pray it want be to late
and that they’ll make it to heaven’s gate.
They need to know that God cares
and that he’s watching up there.

He sees all of your bad.
He sees when you’re happy or sad.
He sees all the good you do.
He sees what you’re going through.

He knows life can be a little rough.
He wants you to be tough.
He knows when you had enough.
That’s why in God’s name we must trust.

Every night I fall to my knees
and I beg and beg him please
that he has some angel wings waiting for me.
And when he comes to this state,
I hope he’s taking me with him to heaven’s gates.
