Corruption

It's said that
when people die,
their souls are relinquished to heaven;
but how can we be certain,
when a curtain of lies masks the stage of true being?

A river of blood runs through this town;
a river of deciet,
lies,
hatred,
and immortality.

The corruption of man,
the absense of beauty.
Kill this curse,
take my hand,
and we'll drink from the divine fountain.
The blood runs across your lips.
Let me taste the nectar of victory.

We stand here,
alone and unchanged.
The bodies lying beneath us,
the ground giving out.
We'll fall forever if we have to,
for we no longer have to die.

The morals of man,
no longer relevant.
Let discontentment run through your hair,
let it flow through your viens,
and when we've finished
we'll have the death of millions on our doorstep.

Corrupting the world will be simple,
we'll mask our hatred in war,
in false hope,
and romances that never were.

My blushing bride,
so full of pride,
I can only promise that you'll never have to die,
and time will never subisde for you.
You're beauty will always remain as it is now,
and you're skin will never wrinkle.

Subdue your fear,
we stand here,
alone and unchanged.
The bodies lying beneath us,
the ground giving out.
We'll fall forever if we have to,
for we no longer have to die.
