There’s a log in the forest covered with snow,
It may have a critter in it, but we do not know.
The log is weathered,
And looks of old age.
It looks like an elderly person, all cracked and split.
There’s a log in the forest covered with snow,
It may have a critter in it, but we do not know.

The snow is melting and going away,
And should be gone in a few days.
The sounds of the forest are pretty and bright,
Especially in the night.
The snow is melting and going away,
And should be gone in a few days.

There’s a pond in the forest covered with ice,
And when the ice melts the pond will look very nice.
The fish in the pond swim in unison,
Over and over, again and again.
The frogs of the pond croak in unison,
Over and over, again and again.
There’s a pond in the forest covered with ice,
And when the ice melts the pond will look very nice.
