Handicapped Earth

Can you see my arms
They're bolted and dead
from all the busy work of fixing
and mending what people said
Can you see my eyes
jeopardized by lazer lights
of soldiers hunting the dead
Can you see my nails
gray from weariness of digging
all the tombs in Darfur
Can you see my life
plastered with artificial glue
as if it would hold

Handicapped
I am
I can't live a day
(can't live a day)
without a bomb (some heart) exploding

Handicapped
I am
The helplessness is murdering me
when I look for my hands
and see them do nothing

Where was everyone (gone)
They're looking for that utopia, dreams
but why now
do they have to trespass on another
lady's land
Why now do battles appear
on blessed land

When did all this start
When can all this end
When will you unconditionally hold
my hands----------

Handicapped
I am
I can't live a day
(can't live a day)
without a bomb (some heart) exploding

Handicapped
I am
The helplessness is murdering me
when I look for my hands
and see them do nothing

Nothing... (2x)

Is it true
Is it real
Does it, my skin
the hide human beings possess
have to be
the vacant desert
dead and rotting
for the world to hold its toxic
breath

Is that really the only time
of peace?
it that how stories must end?
Can't it be a fairy tale
where the princess elopes with the prince?

Can it (until the song fades)
