Favorite Quote:
"There are all kinds of courage. It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends." - Albus Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

A smile
A laugh
Too good to last
But he says,
“Amici semper.”

A tear
A moan
Suffered alone
But she says,
“Amici semper.”

A star
Shot bright
Trust in this night
When we say,
“Amici semper.”

Believe now
And ever
That friends are forever.
Forever,
“Amici semper.”

The author's comments:
"Amici Semper" means "Friends Always" in Latin. I made some of my closest friends through Latin and the Junior Classical League conventions. Sometimes I have a hard time trusting people, but whenever that happens, they assure me we're "Amici Semper".
