What is love?
Love is what confuses you like you’ve never been confused before
Love is nothing but contradictions

Love is what makes you remember
Love is what makes you forget

Love is what makes you happy
Love is what makes you sad

Love is what makes you feel like you’re on top of the world
Love is also what makes you feel like the weight of the world is on top of you

Love is what makes you pay attention to only her words but distracts you from everything else

Love is what gives you the chills and makes you feel warm inside after a hug

Love is what makes you do things you never thought you’d do
like sneak out of your house at two in the morning and walk to the other side of town just to talk or stay up until five in the morning on a school night just because you want her to hang up first

Love is getting caught because u snuck out and then having to make up a crazy story about how you really didn’t sneak out but you just weren’t where you were supposed to be when you were supposed to be there or failing the test at school the next day because you should have been studying but you were on the phone until five

Love is what makes you want someone for who or what they are
Not for what they give
Or how often they give it
Or where it is that they give it
Or how good they are at giving it
