In the darkness where I lie
I rest alone, drowning in this sin
Who am I?
I find myself asking why
My thoughts cannot begin
In this darkness where I lie
Lost in memories of falling from High.
My soul is dying; broken within.
Who am I
To hate in anger, obscure the sky?
Allowing poisonous voices and a malicious grin
In this darkness where I lie.
There is no heart to let me cry,
No more blood beneath this skin;
Who am I?
Broken wings that cannot fly
I lost this fight, let the pain begin
In this darkness where I lie.
