All that silly poetry
Has never made much sense to me
Tone and measure, pace and rhyme
Seem to be made to fry my mind
Sonnets, couplets, and free verse
Top the list of things I curse
And in class we try to figure out
Just what these things are all about
But all this silly poetry
Has never made much sense to me
