These cuts and scrapes
They may burn and sting
But it shows to others
I’m not one to mess with
This disfigured face
With the blows the have take
They make me ugly
I’m not one to mess with
These dark clothes
And these brass knuckles
They make me tough
I’m not one to mess with
My superior height
Confident posture
Booming voice
I’m not one to mess with
These qualities
They make me frightening
But it’s all a charade
I’m one to mess with
