Guardian Angel
You’re gone to a place so far away,
Causing all you kin’s and friends heart dismay,
They cry for you shedding all of their tears,
Wishing, hoping and praying that you were still here,
By God’s side you now stand,
With those big gorgeous white wings spanned,
A golden halo placed upon your head,
No more pain no more dread,
You’re safe there now watching from up above,
Even maybe looking at us through the eyes of the white winged dove,
Sitting upon that tree grasping on to the limb,
Singing the Amazing Grace hymn,
Now you stand guard,
Guiding us from temptation when it gets to hard,
Our guardian angel for we are what you protect,
For that we respect.
