Rising up and looking strong
I am weak in this world of wrong
I try to be someone I'm not
There's a feeling I've long since forgot
The longing is there, the feeling is real
It seems like nothing can help the pain I feel
I'm lost and confused, with nowhere to turn
A past of darkness has finally been learned
Fear and pain that's what I'm about
Sometimes I wish that I was down and out
