A rustling of unheard whispers, loud before my enter.
Beyond a counterfeit world revealed to many faces.
A rush of blood, a pumping of heart, a lack of breath.
The feeling of pure selflessness.
Lights fade to black.
No sounds heard, no world seen.
I take a leap of faith, a step on stage.
A world is lit, so well rehearsed.
The words fall off my lips.
My emotions new and unknown.
Acts, scenes, proceeding.
Exploring new experiences; unseasoned places.
A new life, shared.
The curtain closes upon masked faces.

The author's comments:
Theatre is my passion and what truly drives me. I've performed in over five productions. Theatre really speaks to me like nothing else in this world.
