My fairest bluebird in the sky,
How I envy the way you fly.
Without a care in the world,
You flap your wings.
You receive no love,
nor suffering.

Because what once was love
is now despair.
And I've come to hate
I am aware,
each dismal second,
each breath of air.

So my fairest bluebird in the sky,
I must leave you now and wave goodbye.
I can live no longer
inside this lie.
So I'll cross my arms
and hope to die.
