These Have I Loved
These have I loved: hot days but cool nights;
People talking with the crackling of a fire in the background;
A circle of chairs where the only law is left;
The sound of ping pong balls bouncing on a table;
Bottle openers;
Skinny dipping;
Long drives to Taco Bell or McDonalds, whichever one was open at that time;
2 a.m. shopping cart races at Wal-Mart;
Playing sand volleyball all day and all night;
A nice cold dip in the pool after working out;
4-wheeling at midnight;
Wing night at BW’s;
Smoking stogies with your best friends in the back of a pickup truck;
Summer nights.
