so now upon this grave I stand
I hold our daughter in my hand
So now upon this grave I stand
Just trying to not let go

you were my greatest joy in life
But when you held that kitchen knife
I started running to your side
But time would not stand still

I tried to scream, no words came out
The blood just seeps your going down
It's getting on your yellow gown
But I was still too late

Dear God don't take my love from me
So now I finally truly see
That there's no point in living free
Without you love in life

The doctor says I need to wait
But now he's getting in my way
It's for the best he tried to say
But still I can't let go

I tried to ask him what went wrong
He stood there speechless for too long
Finally said he didn't know
But life will still go on

As tears run down I tried to stop
I couldn't stand in this one spot
It's all I did to not sit here
And watch my life pass by

The author's comments:
I wrote this durring a church service which is weird place to write poetry but that's where I get all my poetic insperations. I just want people to understand how much suicide can ruin other people and how much people who love you are effected when someone that is in their heart committs suicide.
