Her hair falls long and strangley
She is brushing it onthis moonlit night.
I could see her beauty,
But still her ghostly pallor gave me a fright.

She seemed so sad,
As I approached
She opened her mouth as if to talk
But instead,
Let out a blood curdling scream.

I knew at once
Who this lonely woman was,
Standing alone on this cold night.
She was the one, the only the Dreaded BANSHEE!

That was my very last thought,
as her call echoed through the night.

The banshee is from irish myhtology. She is supposed to appear to before you die and has a high pitched call.

Dear Josiebelle,

I'm a choral conductor and I'm writing to you to seek permission to use your text "The Banshee!" for a choral composition. Let me know if it's alright to use it. Thanks!
