Never Meant A Thing
The linger of your kiss stuck on my lips,
Even though you are far gone,
But baby I can’t catch my grip,
With you I must belong
But you deceived me with those lies,
That pretty perfect upturned smile,
Which would make me laugh and cry,
Cause I haven’t see you in such a long while
I’m stuck waiting your return,
My heart splintering in cracks,
But when will I learn?,
You aren’t what I lack
And I must move on today,
Chase down my wondrous dreams,
I will never again lead astray,
Because what we had has no means
It never did
