"Dreaming in Reality"

I don’t know the first time I felt
Unbeautiful
Unhappy
And unloved

But what I do know is
Beauty isn’t everything
Happiness is written on a door mat
And loved is in the past tense

I don’t know why these simple things damage our
Lives
Hopes
And dreams

But I do know I
Live for the moment
Hope for rain
And dreaming isn’t reality

These things complicate me
But I won’t let them destroy
My beautiful life
Hopes for happiness
And my dreams for reality
