"Mother"

Mother what have you done to me?
Just look at the two of us now.
Blood shot eyes and broken hearts.
I won't let this bring me down.

Cold and weak and lonely.
As you lay in your bed all day.
Nothing lasts forever.
Nothing ever stays.

Mother, you ARE the nothing.
Mother you're the she for the cat.
You're the crazy lady who walks on by.
I'm the daughter who'll never come back.

You're and addict and a loser.
A wanna-be ahead of time.
Mother you're invisible.
Don't come back to me just to whine.

I ended this a long time ago.
Years have passed.
How's it been?
Feelings faded and withered,
Your guilty conscience will win.

Mother some things come and go.
Mother I hope you see this as fact.
You're the crazy lady who walks on by.
I'm the daughter who never came back.

This is another poem to my "mother" and what she has put me through emotionally.
