No Second Chance
A synapse of my memory
An answer undefined
My words, the demons, that created
This face that haunts my mind
My eyes now painfully open
To what you longed to show
Would we have had so much more?
I guess I’ll never know.
I’ve created us a world
Where together we can be
I open my eyes to the boy
Not you, but still with me -
It’s my fault, I suppose
I’m left with just a glance
I give up, I’ll love you always
But I get no second chance.
