grandpa Harold
a tall black man
short black gray hair
a magnificent basket ball player
was the best he could be
with a deep like no other
one of a kind cooking
love it
when being made
it makes the house smell like heaven
but all of it ends
with a tragic
death
no more cooking
nor basket ball
just a house laying there empty
some times I walk by
and I can still remember
all the great and horrible times
in that house
I still miss him
but I know he's in a better place
looking over me
rest in peace
grandpa harold.

I was inspired to write this elogy about my grand father because an elogy honors some one or something that has past on
