These past two years,
i lived in fear,
of my memories
i had these years,
my dog had died,
my friend's mother, shot
and a friend's sister, dead,
fills me with emptiness
of were there life was
so young, full of life,
also me so young, so unprepared
for this outcome, i cant bear.
For so many deaths,
my life hurts,
but i know now,
for life comes to and trough,
i love them
and they love me
that's the way life goes

The author's comments:
I if you have read some other poetry of mine, have experienced death in a whole new way. People i knew, not like i hear people on the news, but people i grew up with, life has changed dramatically since all this. My hearts go out to any family, friends, brothers sisters, professors, teachers, the guy standing at the corner, who ever lost someone they loved.
