and the times
that I was not
even there.
Relatives
and friends
become the decorations
while the white color
of the wall
fades.
The people change each year
and some disappear, turning
to nothing
but a memory.
A prayer
is said
for those people,
and their faces
upon the wall
make us
remember.
Pictures

only memories.
