We were a land of majesty
We had perfect mountains, deserts, and oceans that gleamed
We were a land of beauty
Endless forests, lakes, and streams

And we call ourselves great

We became a place of diversity
We soon welcomed Irish, African, and Chinese
We are a nation of blended colors
Black, white and some of these

And we call ourselves great

We chopped down trees
We turned clear oceans brown
We torpedoed our neighbors
Not caring who we put down

And we call ourselves great

We created free speech
We always abuse it
We say what we want
We have not learned how to use it

And we call ourselves great

We are a now generation
We need everything now
We have 5 second time limits
Food, Internet, and cashiers best take less than POW

And we call ourselves great

We have no need for consideration
We have more important things to do
We pass the homeless person
To go buy our Nike shoes

And we call ourselves great?
