I pass your name
Every day.
S-C-O-T-T
Written on the street sign.
I don't walk down that lonely road.
I look solemnly up at that sign,
That constant reminder
That I am without you.
You are oblivious.
The laughter of you and your friends echoes in my mind.
And when the rain is just bouncing off the school building,
I can't build up the courage to reach over and hug you. You. Who doesn't love me.
But, I'm just another cliché.
Just another sad story in countless girls' diaries.
Just anther song in a minor key...
Just another girl, who dreams of "you and me".
