Smile you'll get less frown lines!

What do you see…
You see blue eyes
Light tear cries
Swirling brown curly hair
Blustering in chilling breeze air
Cheery, tomato permanent skin
A girl who’s not supermodel thin
Jock, sporty cloths
Wearing random hair bows
A girl not yet a women a child to turn 18

But do you see…
A dream of future
With her emotions unsure
Fantasies of a husband
No childish boy, but the man
To be spontaneous
Knowing miscellaneous
Desiring zero children
Needing solely best friends

Do you understand…
Her longing for the sea
Dreaming of a dolphin she’d be
But being the home farmer
And 5 time Grand Champion Over All Baker
Coming into a gigantic family
Giving everything to field hockey
Refereeing lacrosse in free time
Acting like everything’s fine
Never letting go of the past

Haunting memories that last

Do you comprehend…
She only enjoys vanilla ice cream in a bowl
Purple colors her soul
She talks real loud
With her head in the clouds
Laughter ever resonating
Then Pilates meditating

Do you feel…
That everlasting grudge
You cant makeup—not even fudge
Science driven passion
A temper lashing
Clumsy but steady on the feet
Not letting herself be beat
Someone who has survived- -
But never lived
For from her family she won’t flee

Do you see…
This girl before you
Her name you unsure
But her confidence untouched- -
She wears a mask, buts not ashamed
‘cause she’ll except your blame
Reflected on the mirror
Her last glance- -
Piercing peers
