Untitled
By Cara C., Waltham, MA
The golden blond
plunged
six sunflowers
into a vase
filled with water.
Arranged
them
so that customers' eyes
would become
magnetically fixed
upon her creation.
The tallest one standing in the
center
of the smaller five.
The day being withered away,
she zipped up her green coat
along her toothpick frame
and returned home
where
she stood in the
circle
of her five embracing clones ...
and gulped down a glass of
water.
