i think in pictures
i don't live for tomorrow
i remember yesterday
and i don't remember sorrow
and i'm just thinking it's tomorrow
and i wonder why i'm gone
why i'm just their pawn
and we put our words together
wearing boots of spanish leather
and we're living for today
but i can see it's not okay
the kids in the alley
are all smoking and drinking
and i look at them and wonder
what do they really believe?
where do they go home at night?
do they like where they go?
would they rather be someone else?
