   unnerved and a bit restless

i wonder what you're doing

sorry if i made you feel the same

i remember when i was little, joy

was a day in fall

halloween night, the way the air stole my senses

kicking up the wet leaves

i recall

we caught salamanders early that day

and then november, thanskgiving parade on

the television i don't even watch now

those biscuits grandma made

fine. laugh at me.

but i loved the way those christmas candles lit

the house dim

i fell asleep at the window waiting

i'm still waiting

new year's eve, my friend and i young in the cold

i guess we both evolved

spring comes slower than the rest

i sit and watch for the new green leaves

the ocean, lonely, i like to sit and comfort it

soon, soon, i say

summertime arrives in the mail, with the air, a splash of water

one spark of the firefly - time is running out though

unnerved and a bit restless,

i've been thinking - nothing's been the same

i wonder what you're doing

i've been thinking - nothing's been the same

sorry if i made you feel the same

i've been thinking - nothing's been the same
