The sun is shining
but it's 30 below
I like the cold anyways
but you're not sure what you like
One egg short of a dozen
and the hens not laying any more
That doesn't stop you from scrambling them
even though I like them over easy
One petal short of a flower
but your beauty is still there
The missing petal was He Loves Me Not
and that kills the reality
You may have lost your marbles
under the gingham green couch
or in your favorite chair
but there are lots of other games we can play
Calling you crazy is an understatement
but remember ... I am insane
