Rejection hurts like crap,
This isn't the first time
I wouldn't drop it on a hat,
Or even on a dime
I protected my heart more this time,
But I still felt the pain
I can't just close my eyes and forget it,
Or wash it down the drain
You said you had a girlfriend,
And I totally understand
But if you weren't with her, would I even have one small chance
I see you everywhere I go at school, and it's a little hard for me
But I have to just move on,
I have to just be me
