Tell me this isn't real
for i have no need to feel
because i can't take this reality
it seems that life always has a fee

the air here smells of death.
the earth beneath curses us
for we are you disobedient children
and I am torn, too fragile

caught in the balance
this world seems full of malice
and the fairy wings i carry here
are ripped and torn without a tear
